Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Lenso (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding contract between you and [COMPANY NAME] (“Lenso”, “we”, “us”).

2. Service description

Lenso is an event photo and video sharing platform. Event hosts create events and share QR codes; guests upload media through the guest interface. Hosts curate and manage the resulting gallery.

3. Host responsibilities

  • You must inform your guests that their photos and videos will be collected and processed.
  • You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from guests before enabling uploads.
  • You must not use Lenso for events where participants are minors without appropriate safeguards.
  • You are responsible for moderating content uploaded to your events.

4. Prohibited content

You may not upload or facilitate the upload of content that is illegal, sexually explicit, violent, harassing, or infringes the intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Intellectual property

Guests retain copyright over their uploaded photos and videos. By uploading, guests grant the event host a non-exclusive licence to display and download the content within the Lenso platform for the duration of the event. Lenso does not claim ownership of user content.

6. Plans and payments

Paid plans are billed as described on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support within 14 days of purchase. Unused event credits do not expire.

7. Data deletion

Guest media is automatically deleted after the retention period configured by the host. Hosts may delete their account and all associated data at any time from Account Settings. Guests may delete individual uploads using the delete link provided after upload.

8. Limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LENSO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [JURISDICTION], except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
